1 Pt 5.5 – A fundamental sin, one at the root of the fallen experience, is pride. In this passage, Peter counsels Christians towards humility. He addresses young men (or perhaps young ministerial trainees), and then “all of you” to put on the garment of humility. He calls to mind the Lord Jesus who is our example.
