Mt 18.23-35 – In our ask the pastor series, a question was raised about the unforgiving servant. The parable ends seemingly in a shocking way, with the King (representing God) going back on his forgiveness of a massive debt. Many have struggled with this passage, but we offer a solution to the problem that absolves God of any injustice, and puts the force of the parable, teaching against an unforgiving spirit, in its proper place.
