Matthew 19.3-9 – In response to a question about a specific situation, we review the Biblical teaching concerning divorce, then comment on the situation described. God is against divorce as it breaks what He created. Nevertheless, due to hardness of men’s hearts, God permits divorce in some circumstances. Yet difficult circumstances alone are not a license to divorce, God calls people to commit to a covenant which sometimes can mean ministry in hard places.
