With this session, we wrap up the sources of information for textual criticism. We’ve dealt with the type of writing material, writing style, the manuscripts themselves, the lectionaries, and now we discuss the ancient versions and the testimony of the Church fathers. All of these are pieces of evidence in putting together the big puzzle of the original text.
