The Word of God and the Book of Kings (1) – The book of Kings has an unusual emphasis on the word of God. Many of the events that occurred rested on what God says. We look specifically at the Word of God as it comes to rebuke Jeroboam for his false idol and the ulitmate consequences for many incidents of disobedience to God’s word in the story.
