We begin our series on “The Holy Spirit at Christmas” with the first mention, that John the Baptist would be filled with the Spirit from his mother’s womb. We see John as the last blaze of Old Testament glory, which turns our attention to the Lamb of God, the brilliant light of the New Testament gospel.
