Gen 17.1-27 – We are thirteen years on from our previous encounter with Abram. God repeats the covenant, but renames the man. Now Abraham appears, accepting God’s sign of the covenant, as he finds that even Sarah will really be the covenant mother, the promise will come to pass, and God will bless the world through them.
