Mt 9.2-17
Taking a break from our look at Acts, we turn to Matthew to note the passages connected together as Matthew includes his own story of turning from life as a tax collector to a disciple of Jesus Christ. Matthew sets his story in the midst of miracles, especially the healing of the paralytic. The Lord forgave the paralytic’s sins, then told him to stand up and walk. The Lord forgave Matthew’s sins, then said, “Follow me.”
