Hebrews 2.5-9 – Having shown us that no man is in dominion, our author turns to Jesus and shows that the very thing that seemed like yet another failure is what God uses to establish the dominion of the Son. Jesus became a man, a humiliation from his exalted position in heaven, submitted to death, an even greater humiliation, and because of it, he is crowned with glory and honour.
