Colossians 3.1-20 – The Lord Jesus is declared as the firstborn of creation, the Creator, sustainer, and redeemer of all. The law of the firstborn calls for substitution after Adam’s failure, calls for consecration of all men to God, demands a price for redemption, and finds the perfect redeemer in the one who is before all and above all.
