Acts 23.24-35
As we close out the chapter, we observe none of those to whom Paul proclaims the gospel in the chapter respond positively. This parallels our experience as we witness in our world. Yet as we look back over the book of Acts, despite indifference and opposition, the record shows the amazing growth of the church. Church history shows the same thing, though we look back and see amazing growth up to today, where professing Christians account for 31% of world population. Though many may be nominal, still, the Lord has built his church as he promised. This encourages us to keep on preaching.
