In this lesson we look at prophecies concerning Sidon and Thebes (No-Amon). Ezekiel said God would send pestilence to Sidon and blood to her streets. The record of history shows Sidon suffering again and again from many foreign sieges and continues to be a frequent trouble spot in our world. Thebes, home of mighty Luxor and Karnak, also had its downfall told by Ezekiel. The mighty ruins of its magnificent temples and palaces are today a tourist trap and archaeological site. The power and might of ancient Thebes is long gone.
