1 Peter 4.4-5
The Lord won the victory over those powers who oppress us, and in his victory, we find spiritual vitality to live according to the will of God rather than the desire of the Gentiles. When we live this way, the Gentiles think it strange that we no longer run with them. We cannot afford to give in to their pressure, since the way they run is towards judgement and death.
