Lev 26 – In this chapter, God prophesies what will happen to Israel if they should forsake him. The later prophets repeated this warning over and over again. After Israel rejected the Messiah, the Lord allowed the Romans to destroy the temple in AD 70, as God prophesied. The Jewish religion has never since been able to fulfill the law as the OT demanded.
