Acts 20.1-3 In one of Luke’s “travelogue” sections of Acts, we fine almost a year passes in Paul’s ministry where Luke is silent about the details. Some hints fill in a few blanks from the epistles, but those hints make the silence all the more tantalizing. What could be told about this period of Paul’s work? Who were the anonymous men brought into the church and into the ongoing mission? We don’t know. From this we conclude that serving God in anonymity is jus tfine, it is the gospel and the glory of God that matters.
