In a recent survey of the New Testament, our pastor searched for direct statements saying, “Jesus is king.” This message considers the implications of how often the statement (or similar) is made, and why the statements are distributed in the New Testament the way they are. The bottom line: Jesus is King, but for the present age, the emphasis is on his other roles as prophet and priest.
