The Covid-19 crisis precipitated government restrictions on church attendance. The restrictions prompted various responses from Christians, including outright defiance by a small, vocal minority and wandering Christians who sampled the online ministries of other churches instead of their own. This leads us to wonder, what does the Bible say about church attendance? Is it a command? How should we think about government restrictions in a crisis like this? This lesson introduces the topic and begins an analysis of the most frequently cited passage on the obligation to attend church, Hebrews 10.25.
