1 Peter 3.5-6
Our title sounds a little awkward when you pronounce it, but the idea is that we find examples in the Old Testament, especially in Sarah, the wife of Abraham, for what Peter means by proper adornment. What is interesting is the example he selects is not one of submission to a command from her husband, but a regular statement in passing that shows the heart she has for him.
