1 Peter 1.13
After Peter’s lengthy celebration of our salvation (1 Pt 1.3-12), the first command is to fix our hope on the coming grace at the appearing of Jesus Christ. To do this, we must “declutter” our minds (gird up the loins of our minds) and adopt a sober spirit to press on through this world of trials to the glory that is coming.
