The series of judgements resume, with the opening of the seventh seal and a solemn silence falling over heaven as the next series begins to unfold. The next to come are the trumpet judgements. This chaper includes the first four of these, which seemingly increase in intensity and anticipate futher trouble in the “three woes” of the last three trumpets to come.
