In this lesson we survey the vision of Revelation 1. John explains what he sees and gives a preamble to what is to come: the message to the present (the seven churches of Rev. 2-3) and the message to the future (the “after these things” revelations of Rev 4ff.). The fantastic vision begins the many amazing visions to come throughout the book.
