Dt 8.1-20 – Once again, God calls Israel to loyalty to him by reminding them to remember all he did for them (and all he would do for them) and not forget that all their blessings are due to the Lord. Forgetting for Israel would mean expulsion from the Land. For the NT believer, each generation must renew a commitment to the Lord and his ways.
