1 Peter 3.14-17
Peter acknowledges the possibility of persection, but he admonishes his readers to take a Christian perspective. First, no fear, not in the defiant worldly sense, but in the sense that your God is your hope. Second, exalt the Lord in your heart, with all sincerity and godliness. And last, keep a good conscience, so no real blame can come your way.
