Hebrews 1.3a – Our Lord Jesus is dsecribed by various phrases as Hebrews opens, all of them full of meaning. The phrase that we pay attention to today is one that describes his relationship with the father, “Light from Light,” as the Nicene Creed says. Father and Son are of one substance, but are two persons, declaring and manifesting one another for our good and salvation.
