2 Pt 3.1-2 – Turning from his description of the false teachers, Peter urges his readers to stir up their “sincere minds” by remembering the inspired words they had from the prophets and apostles. Here is a lesson for us as well. We must be aware of false teachers, know them for what they are, but our most effective protection is a deep commitment to God’s word.
