Acts 22.1-5
As Paul undergoes arrest in Jerusalem, he begs leave to address the mob who are enraged against him. He begins his defense by identifying himself with them in their zeal for the Law. We need to gain a hearing in similar ways, as we share with the lost our common humanity and problems. When they see that only Christ can solve those problems, they can be saved.
