Acts 22.23-30
As Paul enters Roman custody, the Tribune in charge decides to interrogate Paul by the flagellum, a flogging, illegal to administer against a Roman citizen. Paul’s method of dealing with this treatment is instructive for us as we use our rights as citizens in our society. According to Paul’s precedent, we may appeal to our rights, while relying on God for our ultimate protection.
