Heb 8.3-6 – The definition of a priest is one who offers gifts and offerings (sacrifices) to God. God created Aaron’s priesthood for this purpose. It follows then, that if Jesus is a high priest, he must also minister through an offering. His ministry is more excellent because it was offered once, for all time.
