Acts 28.11-15 – The last travelogue of Acts brings Paul from Malta to Rome. We take the opportunity to consider the overall aim of the book. It begins with the small group of disciples, witnessing the departure of Jesus from the Mount of Olives. It ends with the mighty preacher Paul in Rome. The plan of God, to expand the gospel through the world, reaches a culmination point with Paul’s arrival in Rome. God’s plan always runs smooth (though to us, it might seem to run “bumpy”).
