1 Cor 1.18-25 – As Paul continues to deal with the divisions in Corinth, we discover that the problem is related to the Corinthian attitude towards leaders. They are seeing them as Greek wise men, or philosophers, whom one might pit against another. They don’t understand they are all on the same team. Paul counters this by turning to a comparison of God’s wisdom vs. human wisdom.
