Why Put Christ First? (Romans 5:6)

Don Johnson, January 3, 2010

Part of the Romans series, preached at a Sun AM service

Rm 5.6

As we return to Romans, we find in our passage a great motivation for putting Christ first. That reason is that just at the point where we are weakest and in our deepest need, Christ died for us, the ungodly, who are antagonistic to God and all that God is and does. Christ is the one who gives this blessing to us and who is the preeminent One over all. We are called to put him first in our lives.
