In admonishing us to pray evangelistically, Paul speaks of our goals in praying for kings and rulers that we might be able to live quiet and peacable lives in all godliness and dignity. These two qualities speak of our manner of life and inner character that is visible to the outside world - our testimony. It is through the quiet peacable Christian life that these qualities are developed.
